Fire Chief - Must be certified by Alabama Fire College (FF1, FF2, EMT). This is a supervisory Mayor-appointed and Town Council Approved position.  Responsible for all Fire Department personnel, equipment, apparatus, training records, licensing, and facilities. Familiar with ISO inspections and standards. Conducts fire hydrant testing. Creates Triana Fire Department policies and procedures. Recruit and retain full time, part time, and volunteer Firefighters and EMTs. Prepares annual department budget requests and Purchase Orders for Town and County approval/authorization. Writes and submits grant applications. Prepares and submits reports to the Mayor and Town Council. Conducts Municipal Fire Code Inspections in coordination with the Towns Building Department. Coordinates with outside agencies such as other VFD or Municipal FDs. Prior experience in a Supervisory Firefghter capacity preferred (municipal FD, military FD, or VFD).  


Non-Certified Police Officer - Selected Candidates will need to attend an APOST Police Academy class upon hiring. 


Full Time Maintenance Staff (2 openings)- Must have an active Drivers License, duties include but not limited to landscaping, maintenance, cleaning, water meter reading, Additional desirable qualifications include ADEM Water Certification, Machinery experience such as tractors or backhoes.


Full Time Police Officer - Must be APOST certified at time of application.


Full Time Firefighter/EMT - Must be Certified through Alabama Fire College or Equivalent at time of application.
